Rick Jelliffe Looking for New Challenge

After five years as C.T.O. with my company Topologi, it does not need my full-time attention any more. Programmers, marketing, etc. are in place as needed, and I feel like a new challenge, though I will continue to be involved.

My detailed C.V. is here at https://extra.schematron.com/RickJelliffeCV.pdf.

My priorities are fruitful and interesting work, enthusiastic collegues, opportunity to travel and grow, and opportunity to make a positive difference in the world. I am open to short-term and long-term positions.

I have good experience in publishing, software development, project management, and web technologies and am an acknowledged expert in markup languages (e.g. XML), internationalization (especially East Asian) and schemas (e.g. XML Schemas and Schematron.) You can read my blog at O'Reillynet.

The things I have most enjoyed in my career so far have been the creative "craft" and "communications" aspects:

I am happy to work anywhere: here in Sydney is at the top of the list of course. I have happily worked overseas (Japan, Taiwan) before. I can readily get a UK passport to work in Europe if required.
